In this blog you will find tentative reflections on everyday life, on political, but also on research questions I pursue. I often write from a sociological perspective, but also touch on philosophical topics according to my interests. In doing so, I sympathise with traditions of critical and engaged thinking in a broader sense. Academically, I have in the past dealt more intensively with the discourse around the war on terror in an international context. Currently, I am working the discourses and practices of contemporary office architecture. My empirical research is guided by the effort to bring together discourse and dispositive analysis with interactionist approaches.
